A community of women lifting each other up
M-Power Community Services Inc. was founded on 29 November 2015 in Point Cook, Victoria. Our story began with a small circle of women who believed that with the right support, every woman and every family can flourish.
Almost a decade later, we are still that same circle — only bigger. We organise International Women's Day events, run therapy retreats with horses, distribute hampers and gifts at Christmas, support families during crisis and partner with other charities to extend our reach.
As a small registered charity, we are deeply grateful to every volunteer, donor and partner who shares our vision of a stronger, kinder Victoria.
We believe in giving women the tools, confidence and community they need to step into their full potential.
We meet people where they are — without judgement — and walk alongside them in tough times.
We welcome people of every age, background, culture and ability into our community.
From a hot meal at Christmas to a quiet retreat with horses, our help is concrete and tangible.
We work hand-in-hand with other charities and service organisations to make our impact go further.
Real change happens in community. We build relationships first and outcomes follow.
M-Power supports a broad cross-section of our community — anyone who needs encouragement, practical help or a place to belong.
Women of all ages — and the girls who look up to them — accessing empowerment, wellbeing and support programs.
Families with children of any age, including early childhood, primary years and youth aged 15 to under 25.
Victims of family violence, people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and pre/post release offenders and their families.
People living with chronic illness (including terminal illness) and people with disability — and the carers who love them.
People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including new arrivals, refugees and multicultural families.
People living in rural, regional and remote Victorian communities who can sometimes feel far from support.
Workshops, mentoring, retreats and events designed to build confidence, wellbeing and friendship among Victorian women.
Hampers, gift distribution and emergency assistance for families during the Christmas period and in times of crisis.
Restorative therapy retreats with horses, providing women space to heal, reconnect and rebuild.
Working with other charities and community service organisations to amplify our impact and reach more people.
